Kate Melsom has a background in Graphic Design but since being in Cardiff has been re-engaging with drawing and painting. Her main focus is on the streets and parks of Cardiff, as celebrating the local area became particularly important during lockdown. She often draws 'en plein air' rather than working entirely from reference images to capture the feeling of a space more accurately.

Kate’s work is also for sale in Llandaff Cathedral shop.
