Ink & Landscape Workshop

Join local artist Kate Melsom for an intimate ink and landscape workshop at Halls Bookshop. This relaxed, hands-on session is a chance to explore observational landscape drawing using ink in an inspiring and informal setting at the heart of Llandaff.

Kate has a background in Graphic Design and, since living in Cardiff, has reconnected with drawing and painting. Her work focuses on the streets, parks and green spaces of Cardiff, with a particular interest in capturing the atmosphere and character of local places. She often works en plein air, drawing directly from observation rather than relying solely on reference images. You can view more of her work on Instagram at @wellpenned.

No experience necessary. Basic materials will be provided. Meeting point will be at the back of the Cathedral.
